Monkey-Move-Up: Alternate Scenario 3 –

There has been a lot of rumbling in the DCRP jungle of republican politics. Lots of the movers and shakers, GOP-wise, are angry that ”Outsiders” would openly discuss the plots and schemes to restack the decks of County government. Lots of political power dreams hinge on our Criminal Commissioner Boss Hog Ward bailing out early. Some say yes; some say fat chance. Criminal Commissioner M-1Boss Hog said it all in what only can be the most succinct mission statement from the Delaware County Republican Party’s incompetent incumbent regime; it’s the view the regime has of its power.

Here’s his quote from Friday, October 17, 2008 The Delaware Gazette, page three, in the story about the Commissioners’ AEP Easement Extortion, “… It bothers me when you have a group of people…who are not elected by the people telling elected officials (what to do), Ward said…”

This one statement by our Criminal Commissioner really puts Monkey-Move-Up, secret meetings, dirty deals, public records procedures and official antagonism and attacks on private citizens into a precise statement. Imagine such eloquent articulation of the corruption in Delaware County from our Criminal Commissioner himself – who would have thought it possible.

That brings us to yet another iteration of the DCRP grand scheme to keep voters away from actually making choices in who serves in what public office. A more elegant and simple Monkey-Move-Up scenario might emerge that means less work for the DCRP and keeps the wannabe monkeys from making the game too rowdy since our Criminal Commissioner M-1 Boss Hog Ward doesn’t seem too eager to resign right now.

1.) HANKS to Commissioner – Commissioner pays less but Hanks knows how to handle campaign contributions
2.) PETERSON to Auditor – highest paying job , open after Hanks goes to commissioner – BIG BOOST – for Peterson’s retirement
3.) BRENNER to Treasurer – Yeah it’s scary but he wants paid off for his dirty work
4.) Fiancé to Recorder – Part of the payoff to Ote Brenner (We miss this old campaign signs)

OR - The simplest possible Monkey-Move-Up: Alternate Scenario 4 –

It brings even less work for the DCRP and brings a wannabe into the fold of Incompetent Incumbents. None of the incumbents really want to deal with all that Wall Street stuff that the Treasurer does (none are really capable) and certainly don’t want the scrutiny and responsibility.

1.) HANKS to Commissioner
2.) PETERSON to Auditor
3.) New Monkey to Treasurer

Of course, this is all predicated on Jordan the lying to the caucus wannabe state rep getting elected on November 4th

The voters can put a STOP to the DCRP’s Monkey-Move-Up games by electing Jan Lanier, State Representative, and Julie Houston, County Recorder.
